Praise and Criticism of the Work of Jack Born

Jack came highly recommended to me by one of my business partners. From my first contact with him I could detect that he had more to offer than just website design. Jack is almost a marketing genius first and a designer second.

I came to Jack with a vague idea of what I wanted my website to portray and accomplish. He was able to ask me directed questions to help clear away the ambiguity that I had in my head. This provided a clearer image of what the final design should look like. He also provided input on other critical aspects of a business such as customer adoption and Customer Relationship Management. These are characteristics of a website that I never thought would be cost-effective for a start-up like mine. Jack proved to me they were.

As with every project, changes were made along the way. Nothing major, but minor “tweaking” of the site and its properties. Jack never expressed displeasure or annoyance in making these changes. In fact, he often made the changes on the fly while on the phone with me.

Throughout the process, Jack knew exactly what I was looking for. He provided a significant amount of input, all while carefully listening to what my goals were. When you tell people that you are going to launch a website everybody in this country will tell you that they know a great web designer for really cheap. Be careful! Jack is an amazing web designer who is very reasonably priced. He is not “really cheap,” but he is by no means expensive, especially when you consider that you are hiring a quasi marketing guru in the process. If I had my choice between a construction company that also knew about landscaping and interior design, or simply a construction company, I’d choose the former.
